In the past, crowns were all sent to a lab and patients were given a temporary crown for a few weeks while their permanent restoration was being fabricated. Thanks to modern advances in dentistry, we are now able to offer patients a final restoration the same day that the tooth is prepared for a crown! Using an intra-oral scanner, 3D models are generated and a custom, tooth colored crown is designed chairside. With our state-of-the-art mill and sintering oven, we can make the crown in less than an hour and cement it permanently, without our patients ever leaving the dental chair.
